Lewis University, founded in 1932, is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and lists itself as a member of the North Central Association. Because many of its students are working adults, the majority of online degrees are graduate degrees. Students can choose from a variety of programs. Master’s degrees are available in Public Safety Administration, Nursing, Organizational Leadership, Information Security, Criminal Justice and Aviation and Transportation. The Criminal Justice program is one of Lewis’ most popular programs, offering students concentrations in Homeland Security or Social Justice.The Organizational Leadership degree program lets students choose from five concentrations including Training and Development, Public Administration and Non-profit Management.
